We're empowering athletes to use their voices to amplify climate justice solutions with their teammates and fans. Here's how we're doing it together:
Advocating
We're partnering with our Co-Champions to engage their teammates, fans, and followers. We'll help athletes use their platform to amplify the call to action for supporting solutions for a just transition by providing digital advocacy resources that promote grassroots climate justice solutions and ways to get involved.
Fundraising
We'll help athletes launch fundraising campaigns to support local grassroots programs that serve the frontline communities. Athletes can choose to fundraise for the Avenew Fund, or a specific grassroots organization they nominate to fundraise on behalf of*. *Nominations are approved by the Avenew Collective to ensure organizations meet eligibility criteria and are aligned to our values.
